Sadly no, it was sort of an impulse buy and it was cheap, so I got an auto, I also don’t recall seeing any manual 1 series for sale near me at the time either. Plus the M3 is a stick, so I was alright with having an auto.

It does actually drive pretty nice I was surprised when I first drove it, plus hydraulic power steering, something the 228i I had as a loaner once really could have used. I wouldn’t be opposed to keeping it under different circumstances.

I’ve wanted one for a while, I’d love to just go for a drive in one at this point. I think my E90 is a pretty fantastic car as well, it’s lived up to my expectations.
